Belly Bands for Toy Boys
Belly bands are made for toy breed male dogs that are not reliably housebroken, which I think applies to most toy boys. They are just so tremendously macho and seem to always feel the need to mark their territory AND they own the world so they have a vast territory.
I make the belly bands out of cute cotton prints with flannel lining so it's soft and warm against their skin. They close with Velcro. I also put a bit of elastic in them to keep all their "equipment" under wraps and prevent them from rubbing the bands off by scraping themselves against furniture. They can be very creative in finding ways to escape from "pants". The elastic is encased within the flannel lining so it won't cause irritation.
If you have a powderpuff boy or any other breed with a long or drop coat, I also make the belly bands out of satin and other slippery fabrics to help keep from matting or tangling the coat.
The bands are $7 for anything up to 12 inches and $8 for any toy breed size over 12 inches. The pictures below are the fabrics I have at this time. I do add and subtract as I find more cute prints or sell out of a fabric so check back often or email me with your special requests.
